The Story

We designed Robert Indiana’s graphic artwork EAT to sit on a vintage inspired ringer t-shirt, in bold orange like the original artwork with crisp white trim. “Robert Indiana” is printed in white as if stenciled on the back neck.

  • 100% combed cotton jersey in orange with white trim at sleeves and neckline
  • Unisex, adult size XS to XL, Standard fit (order your normal size)
  • Made in the Portugal
  • Machine wash cold with like colors; Do not bleach; Do not iron design

About the artwork: “EAT” appears in multiple works by Robert Indiana, a word which he described as synonymous with love, equating eating with affection, his mother, and big family gatherings. The particular work Eat/Die was in reference to the last word that his mother said before she died.
